This will be the next to go on to the work bench. An old ROCH 1964 tool re-packaged by ZTS Plastyk. 🙂

I'm going to give it a go Lukasz... hopefully, it'll turn out ok. 🙂

To be absolutely honest I'd trash it and go for IBG, you'd avoid a lot of frustration

Łukasz, are you sure that you recommend a good kit? 😄

I think it was a KP I built when I was a kid. Flawless kit.

I got a fair amount of interest in this old kit so I thought I'd give it a go!! 🙂 As expected, there was a lot of extra moulding that had to come off and the moulding was tired to say the least! The hole where the seat went had to be re-drilled as it was non existent. I added interior paint and then added some seat belts from my stash of unused ones. 🙂

Thanks for your comments Lukasz, Ben, Djordje, Michael & Gary, I appreciate them and you have motivated me to get on with this kit! 👍

Many thanks mates for your interest and likes Alberto M, Jiří R, Duster_d, Gary K, Sukhoi242, Djordje N, Sergej J and 1 other mate. 👍

Hm, we tried to demotivate you actually 😁
Btw it was "Ruch" (sort of kiosk network), not "Roch".

Thanks Lukasz, it was in my stash and has been there for quite a while so we'll see if it is worth going into a cabinet once built. I agree though it is basic and the plastic is poor. Otherwise, it can go on my grandson's ceiling. 🙂

Ah, this is the one I built: PZL P 11c (PZW NK 001, 1:72) - looks like the same tooling. You're in for a treat 🙂 🙂 🙂

You're a truly brave man, Guy! I'll keep my fingers crossed (since I wholly agree with Łukasz here...)

Fuselage put together. This wasn't too bad to do. The wings being attached to the fuselage was irritating due to the fact the pins on the wings were too big and that the wings wouldn't sit flush. After eventually sticking the wings down I added quite a bit of filler to cover the gaps. The tail plane went together surprisingly easily! 🙂

Thanks Ben and Robert for your comments, I'm determined to get this project done, well hopefully 🙂

When I built this, I didn't have putty or liquid cement 🙂

Looks good so far. Cheer up!

I have this MisterCraft box with the Romanian P.11C:
PZL P-11c 'Besarabian Fighter' (MisterCraft B-09, 1:72)

B-09

But I haven't replaced it with the IBG one yet because seems that not released any boxes for the 11C with Romanian decals yet. However I find very interesting the schemes of this polish box:
PZL P.11c (IBG Models 72520, 1:72)

You can do it, Guy! 👍

The wind and tail plane struts have been added and the undercarriage (minus the wheels). 🙂

Many thanks Ben & Cuajete for your encouragement, I appreciate it! 👍

@Cuajete - as far as I know the Romanians used only P.11f, which was their licence-built version of the P.11c adapted for a slightly different engine.
Not sure if any P.11c has ever been evacuated to Romania and enlisted there.
So the kit you're looking for is already there: PZL P.11f (IBG Models 72521, 1:72)
Sorry for a bit of OT 🙂

I now declare this complete. Engine, propeller, wheels and rigging added.

There were 109 serviceable PZL P-11cs when World War began due to the invasion of Poland by Germany.
At dawn on 1 September, Capt. Mieczysław Medwecki flying a PZL P.11c was shot down by Rottenführer (Foreman Leader) Leutnant Frank Neubert of I./StG 2 (Stuka), having the dubious honour of becoming the first aircraft shot down in the Second World War. The first Allied air victory, the shooting down of a Junkers Ju 87, was achieved 20 minutes later by Medwecki's wingman, Władysław Gnyś, who went on to shoot down a pair of Dornier Do 17s with his P.11c.

Many thanks for your kind comments Cuajete, they kept me going! 👍

"109 servicable P.11cs" when ze Germans invaded - a fortuity? 😉
Nicely painted, except for the tail skid, which I think should be darker (black? gunmetal?)
And the "guns" show the kits age unfortunately, but a lot of respect for tackling this really ancient kit 👍
PS. AH P.11c has been reissued lately, they say it's a limited edition.

In fact, it's probably the first kit I ever built in the 60s 🙂 I still feel nostalgic about it to this day.
As for the model - good build, but I would correct the wheel placement.

Following constructive feedback from Lukasz and Robert, I have straightened the wheels and painted the rear skid Gun Metal as shown in the final photo. Thanks mates for pointing out where I could improve the aircraft. 👍
