Bell X-1 Mach Buster

The Eduard kit is quite nice, but for some odd reason the rocket motors are just holes and the only lacking item in the box. So let's print one. Spot on measurement I'd say... 😉 (not the radius) 

This is gonna be much better 🙂 

And it fits 🙂 

Cockpit 

Added some meter rears to the backside of the instrument panel 

Tiny plane actually... 🙂 

And I upgraded the hatch a bit with the locking lever and beefier handles 

Main assembly done . It's got quite a low parts count 😉 and not too much internal stuff to paint 

Main coat of Pure Orange. Needs another thin layer... 

And this one is ready for decals

Yep, the broomstick is in there too 🙂 

 

Managed to f**k it up at the finish line.... forgot to close the hatch with the last clear coat ... :'-( so a badly fogged canopy
