This is an awesome replication of the 964 - the nicest 911 ever produced in my opinion...
The added details, like the USCP seats, are a very nice addition to the rather simple Revell ones.
Really nice pair!

Thx Guido!
Finished this all white 964 Carrera 4 last year, would like to share some pictures of the project. Some work in progress pictures at the end of the album, enjoy

I had seen them going through the complete set.
There is no comparison between the USCP and Revell seats. Certainly worth the upgrade! 😉

That looks flawless, great job! Are these kits any decent? I was thinking about getting the newer Revell mold of the G model, but this one looks good as welll.

Thx guys!
Marcel, the kit is actually remarkably good. Back then Revell used to make nice car kits with crisp detail, then the quality dropped significantly in the 2000s and now they are picking up again. From what I have heard and seen the new G model kits seem to be fairly decent. I wouldn't hesitate and have one on my wishlist too.
The most significant downsides are the headlights, they do not look right. I used spares from the Fujimi 964 line, and you can even get some aftermarket ones from Scale Production which suspiciously look likle a direct copy of the Fujimi parts:

The other no-no are the tires, also mentioned in my album. The glassy parts are also not too pretty, but they were equally bad in the Fujimi kit.
So all in all decent quality, almost rivals the Fujimi kit and has more detail like the engine and operable engine lid.

Thanks for the info! Looking forward to your next builds. The Blackbird looks very promising so far.

Looks fantastic! I tried (and failed) using the same seatbelts during winter and had to give them up. Didn't understand anything of how to build them. I especially like the interior! The beautiful flocking, details on seats and the colour itself. About vacuum forming, do you need a machine to do it? If you have pictures of the work I would appreciate if you post some

Hey Yngve, what exactly went wrong during seatbelt assembly? The "vacuum forming" was not technically vacuum forming. It was the crudest, most simple configuration you can imagine. I clamped a sheet of clear plastic between two picture frames, put this sandwich into the oven, heated until it started to melt and slipped it quickly over the resin mold of the window. Needed many, many attempts myself, so don't give up too quickly on the seatbelts!

Vraiment magnifique : propre, net, précis. Un très beau montage pour un très beau résultat. L'intérieur et les sièges sont particulièrement élégants et soignés. En plus réaliser celà à partir d'un kit Revell est, comment dire... un exploit !
