DKM Bismarck as she would have looked early March 1941 minus the air recognition symbols. Base kit is Revell and Pontos Photoetch set is added. The kit is old and the Pontos set is one of their early ones so there was a lot more detective work in building alone but the Baltic scheme definitely added a challenge. Referenced Stefan Draminski's book for historical accuracy and details, which led to a complete replacement of the bow to include the Bugespiere which was not modeled in the base kit. 3D modeled it based on the hull lines in his book and then 3D printed and replaced the bow, which added more character to an otherwise flat bow. The hull and greys are Lifecolor DKM set and everything else is Tamiya acrylic. Took a very long time working on and off on it and redoing things I did before. Rigging alone took 1 week, 3 hours a day.
