I've always wanted to make this model. With its folded wings, weapons loadout, open tinted canopy, and deployed ladders, it looks fantastic. A simple but effective two-tone paint scheme, theoretically easy to do without an airbrush. I had no idea this beast would give me so many headaches. Except for the two halves of the main fuselage, everything else had to be painted separately in subassemblies. The amount of decals was enormous, and gluing the folded wings, weapons, and other parts was a challenge for me. In the end, I think the result was quite good. Applying white paint with a brush and getting it to look good is very difficult and laborious.
