Me too- I always chuckle at the title…, "polish Fokker"…is that an order to make it look shiny? (Groans…)

Well I have to disappoint you A, neither going to be shiny nor having any poles onboard, not even a tad(of)pole 😋

Welcome mates - the next step are the struts and then probably the painting and lozenge decals

Nice 👌🏼. I have this kit (different boxing). Time to get inspired. Watching.

The fiddly details, designed by Czech watchmakers for other watchmakers look great, Łukasz 👍

That day has come! The top wing is there!
Lesson learned - never attach the wing struts before mounting the top wing onto the fuselage ones.
I had to trim them a bit on the wings :/

Aaand I forgot the rib tapes 🙁 That's going to be another challenge now 😄
28 May, 09:31
Well, not that soon, I almost managed to remove the top wing today while adding another layer of varnish 😄

Just in case you wondered what happened to the little spotty Fokker - I spent last 3 weeks on decalling these blue stripes and it's not all of it yet

I think I finally decalled all the frigging ribtapes. To celebrate that, I added wheels and their rigging today! 🙂

That's all folks, the last stretch was the prop struggle.
But hereby I announce it finished, thx for watching! 👍

Ł...you knocked it out the park, such a great build...you're braver than me on struts and rigging!

Love the lozenge! About 10 years ago I visited a museum in middle of nowhere Colorado that had the largest piece of original lozenge in existence. About 2m^2, it was really impressive to see it in person.

I'm in Colorado and would love to see that - any recollection of where it was?

Ben M I believe it was this one. It was a in a middle of nowhere, took us an hour and half drive from Nationals venue thru some farming fields. Really cool museum, they hade the Fokker DVII in front that we could climb around, flying of course. vafm.org/planes-projects

Thanks everyone, glad to see you like the outcome of this project.
The struts were a challenge indeed, broke the external ones couple of times during decalling - lesson learned to leave them alone as long as possible.
The lozenge is great looking addition indeed and I might return to it in the future.
But for now I'm so tired of these damn rib decals that I need a break 😄

Djordje - thank you, amazingly that is not far from where I live. I will have to check it out. Thank you!
