Using Mr Surface 500 for the turret and main gun mantelet.  

Today, I applied the primer layer. Next steps will be the camouflage, a tricky one, will see how it goes! 

 

 

 

Today I worked on the complex camouflage of the Vercingetorix version. I think is getting similar to the real unit. I still need to paint the turret, I think I will use liquid mask there. 

I started the weathering process, first applying a couple layers of diluted black wash and then a brown wash in specific areas. 

After the washes, I started applying pigments to some areas to add depth to some panels. 

I emphasized the dirt on the engine exhaust and air intake. I also added some rust to the front fenders. 

Today I added decals and apply more weathering including some chipping. I’m also testing the tracks. 

 

Tracks will be weathered before final installation.
