You mind elaborating? I have a PBY-5A in the making and might still be able to tackle the issue. Or is it fixed with the Quickboost cowlings and props?

If you have purchased a Quickboost, then the problem has already been solved.

Yes it is resolved using the Quickboost cowlings and exhausts. As I said before, it was a gift and not something for aftermarkets to be used. More over if I would use them, the receiver would never figure it out neither understand the difference. So there was no point. I will use them on mine though!

Album info

PBY-5 Catalina 1/72 from Academy. The construction was completed on 05/28/2025. The national emblems and aircraft identification features were used from the Academy decals. The rest are painted on with airbrush. AK Xtreme Metal shades were used for the aluminum shade. The yellows are from the Acrylic Gunze range.
Built for a good friend.
