Airfix F-86F Sabre | Wolfhounds, Soesterberg, 1954

What's up with that fanbladeless fan by Airfix? Good thing I still had this one in the spares box that is exactly the right size. So sanded off the rear and there you go 🙂 

One of three kits I'm building at the moment by the way... 🙂 

Seat is ready for primer with all the PE tacked on and I made some seatbelts 

And of course I forgot the noseweight on this F86F too, and on this one I managed to open up the ammunition bay wall to shove some lead cord in. Good thing I wanted to show that opened on one side... :-/
And I made a major mistake in having the slats opened: the 32nd Sabres didn't have slats.... :-/ 

Forgot to update this build: it's been painted by now and almost ready for decals
