I had a nice Flying Tigers T-shirt once, the people in the Chinese restaurant in Florida seemed to really like it, it had Chinese writing on it , could have said anything?? 🤣

there is an interesting story, the painting on the nose was a shark. However, at that time, people in the southwestern China had never seen a shark, so they called it a "flying tiger." Chennault accepted the name, and thus the Flying Tigers got their name.
Many places in China have established memorial halls, parks, and monuments dedicated to the Flying Tigers. Even today, commemorative events are held every year on the anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan.
