Nice upgrade to the interior on this kit Guillaume. The 1/48th Trumpeter kit has a few scale errors in it (if you choose to attempt to fix these... or not) There is a bit of detail on my build of this kit at: flypastrush.com/post..-s-m-79-ii-sparviero - Good luck with the build 🙂

Thank you all! Next steps will be the cockpit radio an other control panels.
@David I'll make sure to read your article to see what modification I can do on my build.

Thank you David & Mark. I hope to finalize the fuselage gluing his weekend. Next, will be the paintjob, which will be a project of it's own 😛 .

I have done my first pass on the paintjob. I'm going to take some creative liberties has I cannot find a color reference for my specific model.

Thank you gentlemen. I have done another step. I placed the spots. I will now apply my pre-shading and will redo the spots for the final paint job.

Beautiful build, camo must have been a nightmare, but well worth it . Really lovely result 👍🏻

Thank you Skyhiker & David H.
The camo is quite a challenge, but not as infernal ai I thought it would be. First pass allowed me to see were the spot should have been. There was a lot of thing I didn't like, but since I am apply a shading pass over the original paint, I get to redo it and will able to move some spots around and play with the colors proportion.
I also found that there was some shapes that repeats themselves in the camo pattern. So now I have the "dino" spot, the squirell spot etc. Kind of help me to stay regular in the shape of my spots

Quite psychedelic'in deed. It was easy to get lost in the pattern after 10min of painting. I ended up loosing a lot of my pre-shading due to the huge amount of touch up I neede to do. The oil paint will take care of it.

This one is marked as completed but I still need to correct mistake I made with the direction o the Fachitas on the wings. I'll have them custom printed on a decal sheet

Thank you Mark, Hans, Neuline & VIlliers. I had been wating to do this build for a long while. I'm a big fan of the design, remind me of the type of airplane you see in Ghibli film.

Great job. Very complicated camo scheme and you nailed it with fine airbrush work. Very nice 👍

Thank you Nick!
I had made a mistake apply the wing decals. I'm lucky enough that we have decal printer at work. So redraw the the missing decals (and those needed on other models) ans printed a sheet. Can now kif the wing insigna direction, but I need to erease parts of the old fachistas with white paint first ohterwise they will show trough the new decals.

Album info
I started this kit a month ago. Love it but I feel the interior is grossly under detailed. I decided to build the interior details using Styrene tubes and sheets.
