Very nicely executed job Alexander, I think that considered the losses and average time in action these planes had, the relatively mild weathering is absolutely plausible. If you mind, I would be courious how the yellowish/green stain around the bottom/tail represents? Something specific, or artistic freedom? Looking really great all over 👍

Looking at the historical photos I still got very little dirty in the area of the rear support.

considering the rotation of the rear wheel while steering on the ground and grass I think such colors were possible

I guessed so, probably a harder touchdown or "airfield quality" could lead to the rear touching ground... good job! 👍

Thanks for referring me over to your IL-2. This is excellent work. Like your Corsair, it makes me want to get a 1/48 version of this aircraft, too.
