On the Academy Stuart kit the tracks were also too short, so I glued them onto the wheels with white glue and used link to link tracks to make up the difference. I recall the PzIV H comes with quite a few spare track links, maybe you can use those.

yes i just did the same ,i have built 12 pz IV so i have luckily some spares , thnx for the tip anyway very much apreciate , its in all a nice kit 🙂 for 17 euro , cant complain 🙂

no issue with the tracks here too.
