Thanks guys for taking a look. The molding is rather poor but we'll try to get something nice in the end. I am building this one mainly to practice a bit of mottling. The landing gear is particularly bad so it will be an in-flight model

Joining the party, you already put a lot of love and effort into this ancient kit 👍

This is looking really great! You can tell how much work you've put in on such an older, rougher kit.

Thanks Mike. I started with the green mottling. Next will be the reddish brown

Thanks Andrea, J35J. Glad to have you here! @Ben M, it's the Galaxy Tools riveter. It's fairly easy to get and use, if you need a link to find it let me know

I have to say that it's one of the best Regia Aircraft I've seen for a long time. Really excellent 👌🏻

Thanks mates! The mottling looks better when photographed from a distance 😄 Moving on now to clear coat and decals

I just saw the camo pic! Excellent work. I have this kit and it is tiny, so getting a camo pattern done right is a credit to you skill or perseverance 😆

Thanks Cuajete and Rui. I got not so good results before when mottling as I don't have great skills, but it is improving now partly thanks to a new airbrush I got (H&S Infinity 2024)

Very nice, great job. I have to agree with Nick, fine airbrush work.

Alberto, this is an outstanding build. I have the same kit in my stash and never imagined it could turn out looking as good as what you've achieved here.
Your paintwork is fantastic on such a small subject. The scale alone makes it challenging, and the G.50 is a compact aircraft to begin with, so the level of detail and the subtle weathering you've pulled off are genuinely impressive.
Your photos are excellent as well, and the spinning-propeller effect is a great touch that brings the model to life.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing this one… bravo! 👏

Thank you very much gents for the generous comments, I'm very happy to hear you like it 👍. It's been very enjoyable for airbrush practice without the pressure of messing up a nice kit 😄

But now of course it IS a nice kit!
That box art is very evocative, growing up in the 70s and looking through my Airfix catalog every year. I don't know if it was a Roy Cross painting but he sadly died recently.

A true gem! Bellissima Freccia it is! Hard to recall it started as a vintage kit 👍
