I am currently working on the relatively new Bücker Bü 131 A kit from RSmodels. This is a typical short run kit, which presented a few challenges during construction. The prototype for my model is the civilian D-EGSY, the 19th Bücker to be built. This aircraft, which at the time was being used to promote the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, crashed in Switzerland in 1935 due to poor visibility. Luise Hoffmann, a well-known female factory pilot at the time, was killed in the crash.

The Bücker Jungmann is finished. With this model, I was able to put another civilian aircraft in my display case.
