A fun little nostalgia project I snuck inbetween, "Border Model" Kirov Airship from one of my most favorite computer games, Command & Conquer Red Alert 2.

Model partly repainted, partly used washes and drybrushing on the colored plastic parts. Chipping fluid was used too.
Tweaked the included LED illumination because I wanted glowing red eyes.
Added some detail like hydraulic lines for the support mechanism.

I love how you industrialized (weathered) the base , and the LED eye is a nice touch! York would be proud. Now, he commands you to build him a Tesla tank!

Thx CaptGPF. I must say it was one of the most fun and rewarding projects in the recent years just for the fact alone I could focus on the artistic freedom and the techniques while disregarding any need to be concerned with recreating "the original" in minute detail. While the box is promising a glue free and paint free assembly, the plastic look was a little stale so I got a little creative.

Tesla Tank, Tesla Trooper and Apocalypse Tank already on order!

How could I have missed this? Beautiful work! They could have used more imagination with the camouflage paint. )))
