Hey Guys, I thought it was time for a real big Biplane without rigging and a zippable Canvas Fuselage Cover 🙂 The kit by Sova will surely become kind a challenge. Lots of sanding and rescribing.

Just a normal stitched fuselage cover. I confused the console for the elevator steering pipe with a Zipper handle.

Interesting 👍 I tried to avoid the rigging similar way, by building lately a Fokker D.VII 😄

Tamiya extra thin and in it dissolved kit sprues is really doin its job.
Complete opened window is recommended when doing this stuff. 🙂

That thing fits better in some areas than some of the newer Airfix Kits 🙂 Straightforwar after the sanding and filling orgy behind one.

Waow, great job on this kit. An unknow japan plane for sure and a a kit little seen until now.
The painting of the whole thing looks very good, so does the pilot.
SOVA-M, I don't know this brand.
Have you had any issues with assembly?

Looks great already! Keep it up, Daniel!

Great job on what sounded like a challenging kit 👍. You mentioned using dissolved sprue goo: wondering if you had any issues with bubbles forming within after it hardens?

Hey Daniel, you have to take another look at the position lights: the red light belongs on the left side. 😉

Hey Mates, first of all thank you all for your nice and encouraging words. Anothe grey Bird is ready.
@Bozo Thanks mate. I would only recommend this kit when there is some Experience with "old fashioned" short runs. Not the cool stuff that Special Hobby or other Companies from Czech Republic are capable of in the last years. You have to really do a lot of cleaning, sanding and filling. And especially the small parts need much fine tuning.
When available i rplaced them with etched parts from the "Grab box".
@ALec Yeah a bit of a challenge but there is much worse stuff around🙂 I use only Tamyia extra thin or when i want the whole thing to dry slower for bigger areas
I use Gunzes Mr.Cement Black SPB, cause the black color makes bubble wholes etc better visible with light grey sprues.
@Lukasz yap he looks straight into the camera🙂
@Guy make me blush sir! Thanks a lot!
@Bat21 yap youre right. Will correct this when the vacu widnshields arrived.
