Robert PodkońskiTo the best of my knowledge, on the reference photos there are post-1990 roundels, Andy. Properly speaking it is not from the times of Ceausescu... In the times when this monster ruled Romania, on the Air Force planes there were red stars with the small roundel inside:

Cristian ALooking good, the insignia during the communist times was the tricolour star instead of roundel.

Cristian A6721 was modernized to the Lancer C standard. Later it crashed killing the pilot… 🙁
