gday mate with you selling bunker hill and tico would you be willing to discuss a deal and how much would postage to south australia be
19 June, 05:53
Hi mate,
Of course I will send the kits to australia if you pay for it - and postage to down under is pretty expensive. If I can fit both kits in one box it will amount to 50 Euro. And due to the fact that I can´t use my standard boxes because of some postal regulations in the UAE considering maximum box sizes I can´t give you any discount because I have to order extra boxes for the shipment

222 dollars ouchy lol hope they worth it any idea what the kit quality is like ive had lots of problems with italeri kits and sorry for the slow reply was in hospital
29 June, 17:02
Hi Aussie.
I hope you are well again - our health is our most precious good, so take your time.
222 dollars - yes - it is a bit of money due to the shipping costs.
Considering the kits quality: take a look at the kit´s history here on scalemates - both kits are nearly identical because both are versions of the same kit originally released by dragon. The italeri one is just a rebox by italeri - the parts were still manufactured by dragon. I haven´t built any dragon 1/350 kits but several 1/72 plane und 1/700 ship kits. Dragon was among the best when their kits first appeared, but they can have its quirks. Looking at the kits parts (they are still sealed in their original bags) I would say they look good with some nice details. The kit even offers a waterline option if you are willing to cut the full hull parts apart (the hull parts have a raised line on the inside as a guide for cutting). If I were building the kit I would add some photoetch, nothing too fancy but it could use some railings, antennae and a few additional details. The new flyhawk Ticonderogas for comparison cost 2,5-3 times as much money. Actually I thought about keeping one of the two kits but decided against it because my stash is already much too big.
In this video you can see the kit parts Youtube Video
and here you can see what can be made of the kit with some additional photoetch modelshipgallery.com..350-me/me-index.html
The good thing is that there will be no additional costs due to tariffs because the shipment´s less than 1000 AUD worth.
for shipment I need your address, an email address and a phone number (I suppose they want ways to contact you to announce delivery)

gday mate thanks for that info medical costs arnt cheap im definantly still going to buy them i just need abit of time to get the money together
9 July, 03:24
Hi,
I can understand that. But I have to tell you, that another guy was interested in the Bunker Hill Kit together with a couple of other Kits and he paid directly for all of them - so the Bunker Hill has been sold. I am sorry about that but he seemed to be in a hurry, so after not hearing any more from you he got the Kit. If you are still interested in the Ticonderoga let me know. But first please get well - my wife actually is in hospital since monday and had surgery too - so we both know there are things more important than modelling.

oh dam and thats ok how much is the Tico? inc postage and im just waiting for my money from singapore airlines had to cancel my holiday to japan cuz of medical bs im so mad
18 July, 10:16
Hey Aussie,
I am sorry that you had to cancel your holiday cos of medical reasons. My wife just had the same - but for her it was just a trip to a wedding in england and she got a partial refund for the flight at least. Getting older isn´t for sissies - at least so we say 😉
Tico with shipping comes at 65 Euro. Looks like DHL changed the prices for shipping to australia during the last month (Tico and Bunker Hill would have been 6 Euros more). But for one kit alone I can use the smaller boxes, so shipping now is cheaper.
I hope you get well soon!

Hi mate
We were at my wife´s parents´ home in eastern Germany (directly at the border to poland) and had a great time - as usual.
So would it be possible that you send the money so I can pack the kit up. Send 65 Euro via paypal to paypal address: bjoernbuschung@gmx.de. Ok? During the last two weeks I recieved two more requests from guys who want to buy the tico too and I don´t want to let them wait too long.

Good that you recieved the tracking mail. Was a bit busy because my daughter had her first day in school, with lots of my wife´s family visiting us.
