Sums up the ex Soviet Navy. Nice work on the water, I do envy mates who are able to manipulate resin to manufacture realistic oceans, seas and water etc. Top Notch Marc.

Thank you Dave.

Thanks Mark but this is not resin it is just clay painted blue and then a light drybrush with white and then Ammo of mig snow binder (a transparent shiny paste) stippled on top.

Thank you Villiers, Alexander and Mark.

Alexander, no, I didn't use a tutorial. But creating the water wasn't difficult. I formed the waves using air-drying clay.
I painted this with a dark, deep blue (Vallejo Panzer Aces 309) and then drybrushed it with white.
On top of that, I stippled a transparent glossy paste (Ammo or MIG Snow Binder) until it created enough depth.

Thanks a lot, the effect looks stunning👍 I was planning to dabble in a small water diorama myself, thanks for the tip. Might try something similar

Beautiful job on the water and motion effects! I will never forget the soldiers reply to this ship on that island, who knew later on it the very ship would meet its fate.
