Made a start on this one. Fuselage and cockpit put together. The kit seems to be a short run build as there are no guidance join pins and the instructions are sparse to say the least.
Main internal colour is Ammo Aotake blue. No decals as yet so controls, seat belts etc painted. 🙂

Pre-shading done in black and then main coat for upper fuselage added, Vallejo Model Air IJN Deep Dark Green. 🙂

Nose painted Vallejo Model Air black and wing tips painted Vallejo Model Air RLM04 Yellow. Next will be the underside of the aircraft before attempting the floats. 🙂

Main float and aircraft trolley put together, trolley IJN Deep Dark Green and float IJN Deep Dark Green and IJN Medium Grey Float needs a bit more work done on it. 🙂

Gloss varnish applied. Decals now applied to the aircraft and the main float. The decals are very thin and don't take long at all to come off from the paper. 🙂

Now that the main and side floats and other small bits have been added added I declare this aircraft completed. 🙂

The aircraft denoted is one that was aboard the IJN cruiser Oyodo in 1944. There were only 15 of this aircraft produced and the first flew operationally in Jun 1944.
