One of my favourite airplanes, in 1:48 as my eyesight is not what it just to be. Model is great so far and I haven't messed anything so far... What can possibly go wrong?

what material are you using for the pieces of the airfield floor?

Thanks Spanjaard! For the airfield slabs I use a cheap sandpaper sheet, 100 I think it is.

René, this is why we share ours WIP, to inspire each other and make a dent on the stash. I must confess I got the idea from someone else long time ago. It looks great once painted, and cheaper and more satisfying than buying anything specific for dioramas.

Well, apart from breaking the pilot tube twice and the almost infinite loop of sanding, masking and repainting the 3 colours involved, I'm really happy with the results. Can't wait to start with the decals...

I'm calling this done. I really enjoyed, even with all the mistakes. Kit is great but it has a few infuriating sink holes. Thanks everyone for comments and support.
