Very nice work Anth. First time I ever saw this kit made and you've done a great job!

Thank you guys - toughest kit so far - felt a bit contrived.

I'm not happy with sheen which seems to be down to tamiya flat over oils. I might recover with something more Mat. 👍

Don't notice any excessive sheen, on this photos 🤔

Cheers. Maybe my eyes but I'm going to experiment with AK Ultra Mat

Or my eyes 🤔 😎 sometimes I think my tanks are a bit to mat and think that a bit of sheen could improve them, so I would say in this modern tanks it looks good. Are we "driving" in oposite ways 🤔 😄

Just my 2 cents but I remember our M1's never appearing totally flat, the sun always finds a way to make a slight sheen to any surface. Our M-41A3 that was on display just about looked like it was almost semi gloss from years of sun exposure. I think your T-54 looks awesome 🙂

Thanks for taking the time for considered feedback guys. I really appreciate it. I'll probably just Matt the tarp and leave it. Thanks again.

Yap, fabrics/clothess, if not rubberized, plasticized or raincoats, look as matte as they can be 😉
