Have made a start on the Swedish PR Spitfire. Cockpit and internal of fuselage painted. Main difference between this version and the Club Ltd Edition is that the decals are more detailed in the Ltd Edition. Note this version not even a control panel decal. 🙂

Welcome along for the ride Robert & Lukasz, you're both very welcome. 👍

Wings and tail plane now attached. The wings required masking tape to hold them to the required angle. 🙂

S 31, very nice! I built one of these some time ago, yours looks much more weathered and aged. Cool!

The other bits have now been added so I declare this aircraft completed. The S.31 Spitfire denoted flew in Apr 1955 for the Swedish Air Force. 🙂

That's a nice S31! Swedish pilots actually flew all the way to the Soviet naval base at Murmansk to take photos - according to some sources with the Swedish national insignias painted over with black. On their way back, they were spotted by Soviet radar, and MiG-15 jets were scrambled to take them out, but the MiG's simply couldn't catch up with the Spitfires. Sweden officially denied this event for decades.
