Cool subject! Looks like a lot of work/limited run kit.

Great Robert! Thanks for your intrest.
This time a limited run kit with all the usual fitting challenges. The plastic moulds are very thick & stiff so it actually feels more like building a resin kit.

The exhaust looks very good 👍👍
Where do you get the metal parts??

Thanks Mr D, the metal parts actually came with the kit this time.
The kit is a limited run will both pro's and con's…😅

S M, you are so welcome!
After getting all major parts together is not that bad. For sure some putty and sanding work but quite ok. As mentioned before the plastic feels very stiff and reacts strange with normal glue. All major parts needs to be reinforced with CA.

Project finalized! It came together after all.
Dimensions is totally off in this kit, feels more like a mix of a late mk Spitfire & ambition of a Spiteful. Nevertheless fun with some white metal parts for the details.

Nice result! I like the lines of the aircraft. It's as if a late model Spit got the laminar flow wings of a P-51. Too bad it was all made obsolete by the jet engine...

Terrific model, JJ!

@John - Thanks for your kind comments.
Yes, the Spiteful was a little too late. Actually the first Spiteful prototype (NN660) consisted of the new laminar flow wings mounted to a Spitfire XIV fuselage with the wide and shallow radiator housings under the wings and the Spitfire standard canopy.
The NN660 is a quite cool object to recreate if you are in for a kitbash.
