All masking done for main body and lower wing, just a couple of touchups needed and some detail painting, then clear coat, decals, and then flat clear to finish and add the top wing..starting to come together.

Touchups done, decals on, now the waiting game for it to fully cure to seal it all with Matt clear and mount the top wing..getting close to complete now

Completed, but now waiting on glue to dry for final pics.
There needs to be a slight bow in the top wing to connect properly, so it won't just sit in place while drying..hence the tape.

All finished,
Pretty happy with the result, still learning to airbrush after decades of either spray paint cans, or brush work. First real attempt at proper camouflage and rigging a 1/72nd scale, so a few things I'm happy turned into ok haha ๐Ÿ‘

Thanks Jennifer! I find this scale both super fun, but also daunting sometimes as I get a tremor in my dominant hand, which makes things rather interesting..thanks for following along ๐Ÿ˜€

I would never have known you get a tremor in your dominant hand. The model looks to be skillfully built.

Very good work, I can't find the SPAD XIII colors the same as the one you are painting, could you tell me what colors you used and what brand?

@Florencio, the colours used are from SMS paints, they are manufactured in Australia, but have started exporting to some other countries..
From memory:
forest green - dark green
British interior - light green
Dark earth - brown
Tan - tan
Camo black - black
And i think the blue was Zurc Exia Blue
