A class of 3 units, 3,000 tons, 64 crew. Armed with 6 torpedo tubes (24 torpedoes on board) and two 15 cm guns.
U-139 cruised in the Biscay and U-140 off the north-american east coast.
U-139 was commissioned 1921 as Halbronn into the French Navy and served there until 1935.
