I ordered my ModelCollect A-12 Avenger kits direct from ModelCollect at the end of May and received them in June. This kit has been on my wish list for twenty plus years and I am finally glad to see this wish come true.
That said, I did see some issues on inspecting the kit contents (ModelCollect 48001). The ejection seats are HUGE! Looking more like one of those Barca Lounger reclining chairs and far too large for a 1/48th scale seat. In fact, I took one of my seats and placed it on the passenger side of an Italeri 1/35th scale HMMWV and it looked like it belonged there. It was a nice discovery since I now have a new purpose for the kit ejection seats with modifications to become 1/35th scale vehicle seats. = Winning!
The main landing gear wheels are another item that needs to be addressed. The kit features what are sentimentally the inside halves for the complete wheel/tyre unit. This can be easily resolved by sourcing replacement wheels/tyres for an aircraft model of similar size and weight such as the F-111, F-15, F-14, or A-6. Depending on which aircraft chosen for your replacement parts will of course provide you with a wheel/tyre set that is not the exact same size but close enough to pass muster and get your landing gear issues taken care of.
Hope this helps for anyone still looking to acquire this kit.
Cheers!

Yeah, the ejection seats are huge. I kept them but spruced them up with some AM (they're incredibly basic out of the box). The wheel moulding isue is weird. But as you say a good resin set of a similar sized aircraft will do the job.

Got the kits, I found a lot of parts are numbered incorrectly on the spu's or not numbered at all. The instructions appear to be photocopied and are small, the kit has lots of flash and some parts are finished off really rough. I have started to put it together so we'll see how it comes out.

My pre-order in March arrived today. It took some time from the time it was released because of new tariffs and shipping restrictions from China to the US. The kit looks very nice.
