This looks like a pretty neat kit although back in the day I think Italeri and Tamiya were off scale and more like 1/32 than 1/35. A lot of those older kits have bigger figures than say DML. This looks like a neat kit though and it includes a metal barrel. Its a new mold so we shall see.

Yeah their bedford looks nice. Really beats the antique tamiya trucks. I found IBG when I bought their 1/72 PZL.23B . It was nice in that the interior was very nice and had photoetch all for under $25. I want IBG's TKS which also comes with a crew and full interior for about $26.

The box says new moulds. It looks very interesting.

The plastic is green, looking a tad less hideous than usual, but to be frank - this ain't no revelation nor a miracle. Italeri remains what it always has been. Absolutely not up to the standard still, to much shame! Thus being said, I'm absolutely getting the kit at some point

Great news! I've waited very loooooong time for this kit...

The thing I did not like about the old italeri kits was the figures were more like 1/32 scale and not really 1/35. The old figures never were compatible with other brands and Tamiya often had the same problem with their 70's kits.

If the molds are going to reuse those of the P26/40, then this kit belongs in the trash can.

tanks-encyclopedia.com/semovente-105-25/
which contains errors: the detailed photo of the suspension is of an M42 as are the interiors which are of a 75/34 M42

The Ansaldo 105/25 M43 self-propelled gun ( BASSOTTO ).
(It has nothing in common with the aforementioned P26/40)
which I own P40 Italeri ,and consider to be a good kit, although the first reviews were not positive, it has an excellent aluminum barrel, PE Hauler and the tracks supplied are of good quality and fit well, with a photographic reference manual , for just over 30 euros ...
I wish there were more kits with this quality => price!

Each Kit has imperfections. Personally I find it pleasant to carefully view all the historical photographs I can find, to notice possible improvements.
Especially if not mentioned in the various reviews or overlooked in the nice kits posted on web
and in magazines.
Happy modeling everyone!
