I just did some research because I started this kit and was confused because the Island looks different on the WW2 pictures of the Orzel/SEP submarine. This is a model of the after war- after 1958- version. They removed the enclosed front gun and replaced it with an open mount 100mm Gun as seen on the boxart. So this is 100% the Version of SEP that was used as training sub from 1958-1972 onwards. To build the 1938-1957 (WW2) version you need the other model with the Island that has the enclosed front gun. PS Mirage Hobby has the same moulds rereleased. Peace and Grüße
