MarkSome confusion on 55-3604. The instructions state it was part of the 416th TFS, but the markings on the nose are definitely for Lt. Col. Harold E. Comstock who was the commander of the 481st TFS -- and did fly 55-3604 when it was assigned to the 481st -- yet those are the tail markings for the 416th TFS. Online photos show the aircraft in both tail markings.
