Early M48 in Jordanian service in 1967

This was started once already using a Tamiya M48 and a Legend M48A1 conversion. Unfortunately the Legend crap was so warped and shrunk that after basically scratch building the entire hull rear I decided to scrap it and start fresh.

Then Dragon released their M48A1! So that will be the new starting point.

I already have a Barrel Depot 90 mm gun barrel with a scratched muzzle brake from the old start

[[[[Will have to scratch build the fuel drum rack for the rear, which is already partially done, but may not fit the Dragon kit.

One obstacle is that no one at present makes a set of T96 28in tracks which look a lot like the T80 track on HVSS Shermans but are 28" wide and have metal faces instead of the rubber pads on the later T97 tracks]]]]

Update 2025 - Have found both T-96 track links and the complete fuel drum rack complete with drums and plumbing from two amazing 3D printers.

So hopefully I can find some model mojo and get back to this project!
