Thanks a all lot for your suporting words, they mean a great pleasure to me. I fill honoured.
To be honest my wok it's far from perfect, but I'm always trying to improve it and share it the way I've learn with you, Yoda. My pleasure and I hope for a lot more years to come.
As to the scene, I think they have already spoted the Tommy's and are rushing to fire range 😄

My friend I'm so happy to know that they praised your 40 years of competition at high level, well deserved Mate, as that's an amaizing feat.
I look forward to see photos of all your recent Airfix 1/24 Mk8 Spitfire, the 1/12 Takom aircraft carrier flight deck, with the men and aircraft and the 1/8 Hasegawa 'Sopwith Camel. When do we have the pleasure to see them?

As for me competing, I had already spoken about it several times, the last time was in my album "Marder II D_16 Inf Mot Div_Rasputitsa_Kalmykiya" in response to a question posed by our friend Peter Hardy, and to a old friend of mine who asked the same thing, that I replicate here:

"I had never been there and that I consider all my dios to be so fragile that they would all arrive there broken. I have many pieces not properly glued on them. (...)

(...) I prefer not to walk around with them, as the comments I receive are enough for me. I've never really been into competitions either, what drives me is doing the best I can, learning and evolving, not the medals.

So Kezza, 0 medals or awards, or comp politics and the back stabbing. Thank you for your encouraging words. Mostly, the praise I receive here, and from my friends and family as been enough for me.

I didn't t know (till I saw a documentary on it) that the Germans used a LOT of French tanks they had captured in WW2. The logistics of keeping everything running must have been a nightmare!

Panzerfausts had a reputation for being at the best downright dangerous to the operator. A lot of this can be put down to the metal used in construction being sabotaged in its manufacture .I believe a female Jewish slave labourer in charge of the furnace producing it altering the controls during the process. Somewhere I have info on this and the brave lady's name
