Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut, Zvezda 7215

The Su-47 Berkut is definitely something unusual on the shelf. Big, black and streamlined fighter with forward-swept wings, this plane stands out even among the coolest and most modern combat jets like the F-22 or Su-57. The Sukhoi Design Bureau developers presented the Su-47 as a future fifth-generation fighter although, as we already know, their real fifth generation became the Su-57. In 1990s Su-47 was a competitor for Mig-1.44 project, but aviation analytics knew that Berkut is much like technology testbed than the real new generation fighter for Russia. Zvezda model of Su-47 is a nice choice for its money. Medium level of detail, quite good mold quality and decals for one variant. Zvezda didn't gave any weapon bay details or loadout with this kit, so if you want to open the weapon bay doors, you would make it from scratch or take from other models. I made my Berkut out-of-the-box and brush painted it.
