Mikoyan Mig-29 (9-13) Ukrainian Falcons, Hasegawa 04093

Another one Fulcrum, this time with markings of Ukrainian Falcons (Українські Соколи) aerobatics team. This Mig-29 from Hasegawa is quite old kit and was issued in 1998 and the moulds are from the late 1980s. I bought it on Ebay to complement the line of aerobatic F/A-18 and Mig-29. The Zvezda kit is much better than Hasegawa one and this is not surprising - there is an age difference close to 20 years between them. Hasegawa kit goes without weapons. There also were some difficulties with decals due to its age, but I made the model and now there is a Ukrainian Falcons Mig-29 hangs next to the russian Fulcrum of Strizhi team. It is sad to realize that the Ukrainian Falcons team was disbanded back in 2002, largely due to the tragedy in Sknyliv, where one of its members was a pilot. But maybe after the war Ukraine will be able to create a new aerobatic team. I wonder what types of planes it will fly?
