Lockheed Martin F-16AM Fighting Falcon, Revell 03860

Lockheed Martin F-16AM of Ukrainian air force in 1/72 scale. F-16 became a symbolic aircraft in Ukraine, being not only just a weapon on the battlefield, but also in information war too together with Turkish Bayractar UAV, HIMARS MLRS and Abrams and Leopard 2 tanks as a part of Western help in combat against Russian forces. I decided to buy this Revell F-16 MLU when Ukraine got its first F-16s. Search for information and comparison with photos showed that the version from inctructions in the kit is not what was adopted by the Ukrainian Air Force, but the Revell kit made it possible to make the necessary modification without any particular problems. Decals were bought from Ukrainian company Rush model kits with plenty of stencils from Revell kit. It was a pity to part with the bright and very beautiful Revell decal, but the goal was to make a Ukrainian aircraft. Weapons were choosen from the kit AA missiles, as F-16 in Ukraine is used mostly as a air defender against Russian cruise missiles and drones. So, the result is here, modest grey Ukrainian air defender.
