UR-77 Meteorit, ACE 72133

An old model of unusual engeneering vehicle - UR-77 Meteorit on the base of 2S1 Gvozdika Soviet SPG. The UR-77 is a mine-clearing vehicle that fires two rockets with lines of mine-clearing charges fitted to them. When the rockets lay down an explosive hose, it detonates, destroying the mines. The model is from ACE and was released in 2004. UR-77 is typical for ACE production of this period being short-run, not so detailed, but there were no alternatives in 2005 until mass advent of 3D printing. I bought this kit back in 2011 because of the vehicle unusual look. When the launcher is deployed Meteorit looks like some vehicles from strategy games about future, like laser tank or something like that.
