Looking good, forge ahead. Funny, I can and have used tons of photoetch on ships without any issues. Outside of seat harnesses I have no desire to add or use PE on aircraft. Most if not all of it is hidden or not that much better than the kit part. Just my humble opinion 😄

I hate photo etch with a passion Nick. I would rather use the kit part, like yourself than photo etch. If I can get hold of fabric set's of seatbelts I use them. Or mock them up with masking tape. Thank you for the compliment too. 🤟🥸🤘

Looking good. Fingers crossed that there isn't any leakage once the canopy masks are removed. I hate canopy masking.

Thank you Chrisswe for the like,🥸👍 Cheers Nick. No, actually I like masking then there's the anticipation of the unmasking.. 🤟🥸🤘

Somehow I overlooked this thread... But I will follow it with pleasure and interest, for sure 😉 Looks good already, Mark!

Thank you Robert. Be ready when that thread unravels more than it is now. 🤟😅🤘🥸👍

Cheers Rui S. I did enjoy the painting as I stated, but not wholly satisfied with the outcome. 🤟🥸🤘

Ah, thank you Robert. But you should see it close up. Pitot tube broke, ill fitting wheels, manual gunsight pinged off, I'll fitting clear parts and fogged, scratched interior of the canopy. But it was enjoyable all in all. But I thought I would post it anyway mishaps and all.

"Nobody is perfect", Mark - there are much more faults in my models 🙂 On the photos it looks great!

That's very true Guy. Is this why we spend countless hours trying to get rid of seams? 😳 🤘😅🤟🥸👍😅 Thanks for the like too and everyone else who smashed that button as the Young Un's say. 👍🥸🤟

Beautiful finish Mark! The problem with building these things is that we're intimately aware of ALL of the imperfections from beginning to end. We might actually enjoy the finish that much more if we could erase our memories of the build. On the other hand. We wouldn't appreciate all the problems we solved along the way, and nobody would ever waste time on an interior.

Thank you for the kind comment Doubtingmango. I agree, also it makes you aware of your own foibles too. It was the canopy that really mystifies me it went on clear, I used Kristal to glue it on and used the kit masks. Bloody Grumlins' 🤟🥸🤘

Love the colours of the camo. Nice build. If a mask leaked, sometimes you can fix this mishap by 'softly' remove the paint with a wooden toothpick.

Cheers Timmie, I did remove the excess paint with a cocktail stick (Thee wife was furious as the pineapple and cheese chunks, with the ickle' sausages too, were still on them. The party went down from there) it still looked a bit rough. But I just say it is weather/combat beaten. 🤘🥸🤟🤣🖖

Album info
I am building S/Lt Ellis aircraft of GC11/10, who seems to be a man of mystery. I've trawled the internet specifically French militaria sites and French Military Records. So he could be a Brit, Irish, Aussie, Kiwi, Canuck, S. African, or a Yank. I suppose I could of built Karel Posta's machine.
