My original plan was to light this baby up - complete with Laser - but running a micro-LED through the frame didn't yield the optics I was looking for. After stewing on this for a week, I might have a better idea that should make the presentation better. Once I receive the parts on order in a fortnight + testing, I should be able to finish this build in time to restore peace and order throughout the galaxy!

Finally done! I added the laser beams in the last minute to make it stand out, I could always try and add the tie fighter sounds, but I'll do that later. 😜

Thank you for the kind words, Mark! The soldering work remains one of my bigger challenges, but I also learned to use porcelain coated filaments in the future - it's brittle, but much kore rigid!

LOL! I'm not sure if it is visibility in the photos, but I super-glued a steel rod underneath the flexible LED filaments to remove the sag. It's not pretty, but it works. 😀

@Alexander - that Armata arctic build is coming along very nicely - I love the Titian on making fine cuts to foil on your remote turret! You solved a problem many of us run into!

@Mark - you make your builds look too easy - one would never have known how much work you had to put in to make that Vampire to make it shine!

Just have to find a foil that is less shiny in certain angles so you can actually see something.. 😄
But what is "Titian"?
