Juergen Klinglhuber AuteurAnother Project "tiny" planes. Thought this would be a quick build - failed. Quit some eforts needed. I want to show it including the "wires" and the paint scheme seems tricky too. Let's see.

But on the otherhand - the bird has seen the paint booth twice since my last postings - overall White applied & underwings are Skyblue now. Started to cut masks for the dark blue edges around the wings. A nasty job, I can tell you. Not sure if this will look good at the end due to acurracy/uniformity of this blue band I have to apply (no advice, no description, no maskings or deals for this painiting detail within the kit).

Juergen Klinglhuber AuteurHere is an up-date. The decals are on. Quite stiff material which is ok for 95% of the areas as they are more or less flat. But applying the decals for the nose was a nightmare. It ended up as a puzzle of cutted pieces and needed paint to hide the mess I created there. Pic 17 gives an impression. But hiding went well 😉

Juergen Klinglhuber AuteurFirst attempt using metal wire at the wings did not work out well. I switsched to eleastic yarn. Not the correct thickness but loooking quit nice on the plane.
