Just bought this. Curious if anyone knows of a decent Afrika Korps staff or officers set that will fit in with this kit? It could use more than just the included figure of Rommel in the compartment. Maybe 2-3 more figures. Was thinking maybe some of the old dragon figures or verlinden. Hopefully the detail will match the Takom ones. So far I have found one Hobby Fan figure set that might be compatible.

Ok that figure set is perfect and beautiful. Thanks for that!!! It sure is light years above the old 70s Tamiya kit isn't it?

Its about time we got a new tool of this famous vehicle.Light years more detail than the ancient Tamiya kit, and it includes a driver figure! A must have kit for me.

Ya I just got a Takom Merkava 2D and I love the detail and the track jig provided. These are great kits at a very cheap price in this age of inflation where Armor in 1/35 scale has been over $60 a kit in a lot of cases.

TAKOM kits are very affordable. You get a lot for the money you spend. It's a tossup between TAKOM and Tamiya as to who my favorite brand is.

As expected, but in this case.... Nothing wrong with "as expected". Takom brings quality stuff at a good pricepoint.
