Ambush the Jerries

The Battle of Halloville took place on November 15, 1944 in northeast France right by the German border. It involved elements of the U.S. 79 Infantry Division, 813th Tank Destroyer Battalion, and the Free French 2nd Armored Division fighting against the German 708th Volksgrenadier Division.

The battle centered around the village of Halloville during the Saverne Gap campaign which resulted in the Germans suffering about 200 casualties and 140 prisoners along with many vehicles and equipment being seized including some Jagdpanzer 38t's (Hetzer).
