For the first representation of my favorite jet, I will build this F-8E Crusader flown by LCDR Guy Cane. On July 27, 1968, Cane shot down a North Vietnamese MiG-17 while flying this aircraft. This kit will use SAC landing gear, Wolfpack ejection seat, and Furball "MiG Masters" decals. Note: the nose Modex of 205 in the photo is from prior to the aircraft's deployment, which was changed to 203 while on the USS Bon Homme Richard.
